I hope these notes will provide clues as to the location of these people during this period of time. I have attempted to keep the spelling of the names as I saw them in the records.

Summoned for jury duty: Hackney Taylor, Hugh Jones, John Hicks, Isaac M. Hicks, Robert R. Thompson, Samuel Ragland, John G. Majure, Henry Avery, William C. Thrailkill.

Woolley and Edmonds vs Woodson Blasingame - p. 176-177
Jury: Hugh Jones and 11 others. Plaintiff to recover $457.14 and costs incurred.

Benjamin Camp, for the use of Karon Shacklford vs Daniel F. Camp - p. 177
Case continued until next term.

William H. Wilson vs Michael K. Bradhed? - p. 177
Case continued until next term.

David S. Lipscomb, Administrator of Willis Brown, vs John Cook - p. 177
Defendant made default. Jury: Hugh Jones and 11 others. Plaintiff to recover $64.47 and costs incurred.

Martin McCary vs Benjamin Beard and William Foshee - p. 178
Neither party appeared in court. Case dismissed. Court ordered that Beard and Foshee, his security on appeal, pay court costs.

L. J. Peirce, use of P. L. Peirce, vs John Davenport and L. D. McCary - p. 178

Coleman A. Allen vs James Hamelton and David S. Lipscomb - p. 179
Defendants summoned as garnishee to answer how much they are indebted to Theophilus D. Scott. They testified that they were indebted to Scott in the sum of $100 due 25 December 1845 and $39.74 due 25 December 1846. Plaintiff to recover from defendants $100.99 and costs incurred with the further sum of $39.74 being due on 25 December 1846.

David E. Davis granted license to sell liquors by the small measure. Jno. W. Foshee was security. - p. 183

Robert F. Wilson granted license to sell liquors by the small measure. Robert Parker was security. - p. 183

Robert Parker vs Horace Ware, garnishee of Cicero D. R. Woodruff - p. 184
Horace Ware failed to appear. Robert Parker to recover from Ware $317, the amount of the plaintiff's debt, unless Horace Ware appear at the next term of court and show cause why this judgment should not be made.
