In the matter of application of Lucretion Parker to probate the last will and testament and a codicil to said Last Will and Testament of Henry Parker, deceased. This day comes Lucretia Parker and produces to the court a paper purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Henry Parker deceased and a codicil annexed to said Last Will and Testament of said Henry Parker, deceased, and moves the Court to admit the said Will and Testament and the Codicil to said, Will and Testament -?- Lucretia Parker. It is therefore ordered that a citation issue to Lucretia Parker the widow of said Henry Parker and to Nora Parker, Estelle Parker, Robert Steele, James Steele, Charlie Steele, Mary Steel, Nellie Steele and Lila Steele his next of kin to -?- appear before this Court on the 1st day of November 1897, which said day is ordered by the Court as the day set for hearing said cause, and show, if anything they have to allege why said Will & Testament & codicil to said Will & Testament, should not be admitted to Probate and letters thereunder issued to said Lucretia Parker. It further appearing that the following next of kin of said Henry Parker viz: Nora Parker, Estelle Parker, Robert Steele, James Steele, Mary Steele, Nellie Steele and Lila Steele are under the age of Twenty one years. It is ordered by the court that M. C. Shoolar be & he is hereby appointed Guardian ad Litem to represent & protect the interest of the above named minors on the hearing of this cause. N. H. I Henry Parker of the State and County aforesaid being of sound and disposing mind memory make publish and declare the following to be my last will and testament hereby making void all others heretofore made in manner and form following to wit.

1st I resign my soul to God who gave it and my body to the dust wishing to be buried in a plain and Christian like manner.

2nd As to my worldly estate my desire is that my property both real and personal be disposed by as follows to-wit I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Elizabeth Steel wife of W. T. Steele the following described real estate to-wit

The S1/2 of NW1/4 sec 22 T 23 R 9

The SW1/4 sec 22 T 23 R 9

The N1/2 of NE1/4 sec 24 (27?) T 23 R 9

SW1/4 of NE1/4 sec 24(27?) T 23 R 9

The NW1/4 of sec 27 T 23 R 9

NW1/4 SW1/4 sec 27 T 23 R 9

And at the death of the said Elizabeth Steele then my desire is that said lands pass to her bodily heirs. I also will to my daughter Elizabeth Steele all that I have heretofore done for her & she nor her heirs are to be taxed or charged up with anything herefore done for them on final settlement of my estate.

2rd I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Lucretia Parker and her bodity heirs all my other property real, personal or mixed the same to be kept together during the life of my said wife and after her death and when her said children marry or arrive at the age of twenty-one years then my will is that said property be divided between them if it can be satisfactory done if not I wish it to be sold for cash and the money divided equally between them except that part given to Elizabeth Steele. My desire is that she take peaceable and --?- possession of same.

3rd I hereby nominate constitute and appoint Jesse D. Cooper sole executor to carry out this my last will and testament. Henry Parker (Seal)

The --?- were made before signing. Signed Sealed and pubished and declared to be the last will of Henry Parker in our presents on the 25th day of January A.D. 1887.

I Henry Parker of said State and County being of sound mind and disposing memory but being feble in health do make and publish this as the last and only codicil to my last will and testament made by me on the 25th day of January 1887.

First it is my will and desire and I hereby change and alter the will and testament made by me on the 25th day of January 1887 said change and alteration in the will and testamentary made by me on the 25th day of January 1887 to be in the following particular only viz I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my beloved wife Lucretia Parker sole executor to carry out my last will and testament made by me on 25th day of January 1887 the said Lucretia Parker to act as executor of my last will and testament instead of and in the place of Jesse D. Cooper who is named as executor in the will and testament made by me on the 25th day of January 1887.

Second. It is my will that my said beloved wife Lucretia Parker act as the sole executor of my last will and testament without giving any bond to act as such executrix of my last will testament.

Third. With the exception herein mentioned and set forth it is my will that the --?- of the will and testament made by me on the 25th day of January 1887 should and be carried out. Signed sealed and published as the last codicil to the will and testament of Henry Parker in our presence on this the 27th day of September 1887. Henry Parker (his mark)

Probate Court

The will of Henry Parker of the said county having been duly admitted to record in said county Letters testamentary are hereby granted to Lucretia Parker the executor named in said Will who has complied with the requisitions of the law and is authorized to take --?- himself to executor of such will. Dated this 2nd day of November 1897. N.H. Thompson, Judge of Probate.
