Thomas Jefferson Hasty and his wife Carrie Harris Hasty (Aug 14, 1947-May 11,1907) buried in LaGrange, Ga. The story has been handed down that he worked with an Indian Doctor and that a lot of his friends called him "Doc" or "Doctor Hasy". His wife, an Indian, we do not know whether she was the Indian Doctors daughter. Grandmother told me once before her death in 1950 that the Hasty family came from Bahama Islands and settled in Lee County.
