p 138 - "Jesse G. Cole was born on January 19, 1799, in Newberry District, SC. He married Julia Ann Lockett on November 8, 1821, in Perry Co. He died at his home in the country on December 12, 1854, and is buried in the Hopewell Church Cemetery.
