MRS. LUCILE SLATEN DIED LAST THURSDAY NIGHT

Mrs Lucile Slaten, 21, died at her home on Hartselle Route 3, Thursday night after an illness of three weeks. She is survived by her husband, Thomas B. Slaten; one son, Thomas B. Slaten, Jr., and one daughter, Jojo; her parents, Mr and Mrs R. E. Griffin; two brothers and six sisters...burial in the Bethel cemetery was directed by Drinkard-Howell.
