Fayette Co. census of 1850 shows 484 MOORE, Henry age 61 Rachel 45 born in N.C.  Morres A.J. 17 male b. AL Martin V. 15 " " Daniel W. 12 " " Frances M. 11 " "  I believe this is the same Rachel Moore who is 74 yrs. old in Lamar Co. census of 1880 and listed as mother-in-law in the home of Daniel OREAR/Mahala Moore who lived at Detroit, Lamar Co.  I would appreciate any information on the Henry Moore family.

My great great grandfather, Hezekiah Johnson lived in Fayette Co AL in prior to the 1850's.  I would like to know who he married and any children?  I know that Thomas K. Johnson was his son, born around 1820 or 22 and he (Thomas) married Sarah Ann Cason.  I would like to know if Thomas and Sarah married in Fayette Co.? Anything information that anyone can give me regarding these two families will be greatly appreciated.  I know that Hezekiah eventually went to Nacogdoches, TX. and Thomas and Sarah went to Drew Co. Elizabeth GILPIN GIVIDEN/GIVODAN/GEVAUDAN married, Rowan Co. N.C. Aug. 21, 1816 Shadrach Mims GIVIDEN, born 1785 VA., died Sept. 1848, Henry Co. KY.  He was said to have been named after his Maternal grandfather Shadrach MIMS.  This family of GEVAUDAN/GIVIDENS can be found in Buckingham Co. VA., Trimble Co. KY., Henry Co. KY., Shelby Co. KY. Albemarle Co. VA., Goochland Co. VA., Henrico Co. VA. (records of the GIVIDEN family).  Elizabeth GILPIN/GIBSON was the d/o Benjamin GILPIN/GIBSON of early Fayette Co. & Henry Co.
