October

Aldridge / Canterbury / Bowling / Lee / Berryhill ~ October 30
Aldridge • Canterbury • Bowling
Lee • Berryhill Reunion

Saturday
October 30, 2010
Glen Allen Methodist Church Basement
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
(or until the football game begins)

The church again extends a welcome to us all for this potluck gathering.
The church is planning an evening hayride for the children of the church family
and neighborhood, so we can leave things neat and ready for them when we finish.
We will make a donation to the Cemetery Upkeep Fund,
as we have in other years.

We hope everyone is well and you can plan to join the group for this
family reunion.  Pass the word to relatives and come have lunch
(we really have great food) and visit for a brief time if you can't stay long.
I have been seeing some commercials on television about 'Come Home to Alabama.'
That sounds like a good theme for those of us who will travel to Glen Allen.
Let's wish all of those with October birthdays a most 'Happy Birthday.'

We all want to see everyone and exchange some news
or compare old and new aches and pains.  Let's hope for good health
for everyone (no emergencies) and good weather for all of us,
near and far.  See you soon in Alabama.

Whoever gets to the location first, the back basement door
sticks and is difficult to pull open - we have often thought it was locked,
but it was just stuck.  The front doors are sometimes unlocked, other times not.
Plan to eat about noon, but come earlier and stay later to visit.
