     Know all Men by these Presents that for and in consideration of
Five hundred Dollars
to the undersigned grantor, W.A. MUSGROVE
in hand paid by James B. MORTON
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, we the said
W.A. MUSGROVE and Mary F.A. MUSGROVE
do Grant, Bargain, Sell and Convey unto the said
James B. MORTON
the following described real estate, to wit:
The South West Fourth of
Section Five T 14 [south] - Range 12
west
containing 160 acres more
or less
Situated in Fayette County, Alabama.
To have and to hold to the said Jas. B. MORTON
his heirs and assigns forever
     And we do for us, our heirs, executors and
administrators covenant with the said Jas. B. MORTON
his heirs and assigns that are lawfully seized in fee simple of said premises
that they are free from all encumbrances, and that we have a good right to
Sell and Convey the same as aforesaid, that we will and our
Jas. B. MORTON
heirs, executors and assigns forever against the lawful claims of all persons
     In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hand and seal,
this 13th day of August 1900.
