Wilbanks, one of the most prominent citizens of Sand Mountain and Marshall county died at his home near Crossville Tuesday morning after a few cays illness as the result of a stroke of paralysis. Mr. Wilbanks was past 70 years old and very little hope was held out for his recovery from the first. He leaves a large number of relatives to mourn his death. R. M. and F. B. Wilbanks of Gadsden being his sons. The remains were laid to rest at the family burrying ground Wednesday. The following were pall bearers active, C. C. Anderson, J. W. Daniel, W. U. Gulledge, F. H. Moody, R. L. Thomason, J. Z. Wells, Frank Miller, W. A. Luther. Honorary Pall Bearers: E. R. Morton, J. A. Stopp, Leander Walker, Mr. Reed, Mr. Gray, J. W. Crowley.
