MRS. SKELTON PASSES AWAY

Mrs. Eliza Skelton died yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Fort Payne. The funeral took place today at 1 o'clock and the burial was at Mr. Zion in Jackson county.

Mrs. Skelton was the mother of Mrs. John W. Gallant of Gadsden. She had two other children.

The deceased was 78 years old. She lived most of her life in Jackson county and had been in Fort Payne only six years.
