Mrs. Joe Shortnacy Passed Away Monday

Mrs. Joe Shortnacy, aged 67, died Monday morning at 5:30 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Tide Bradley, on South Third street. She had been ill for some time and her death was not unexpected. She was a good Christian woman and had been a member of the Advent church in Coats Bend for many years.

She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Tide Bradley, of Gadsden, and three sons, Boss, Brag and Jim, and a host of relatives to mourn her death.

The burial took place this morning at 11 o'clock at the Lebanon cemetery in Coats Bend.
