Mrs. Ruth McCrary Dies As Result of Operation

Mrs. Ruth McCrary, wife of E. B. McCrary, died last night at 11 o'clock following an operation. She was 24 years old and a member of the Methodist church and a good Christian woman. Her untimely death will cause much sorrow among her friends in this city who learned to love her since her residence in Gadsden.

Besides her husband she leaves three small children and many friends to mourn her death.

The remains will be shipped to Millin, Ga., this afternoon and the funeral and burial will take place in the city Sunday afternoon.

Mr. McCrary is a telegraph operator and has been in the city only a few years. His friends in this city sympathize with him in the loss of his wife.
