BIRMINGHAM LADY DIES	

Mrs. S. J. Hood, whose residence was in Birmingham, died Sunday at the home of her son-in-law, Rev. J. T. Lane, at Hokes Bluff, this county.

Mrs. Hood was 67 years old and had been in feeble health for some time. She suffered acutely from rheumatism and a few weeks ago she went to Hokes Bluff to be with her daughter and with the hope of recuperating. A few days since she became extremely ill and on Sunday she passed away.

The remins were shipped to Birmingham Monday and were accompanied by relatives and freinds from Hokes Bluff.
