The friends of Mrs. J. M. Elliott, Sr. will regret to learn of the death of her father, Mr. G. W. Ward of Hokes Bluff.

Funeral services were held on Friday at the Liberty Methodist Church in Alfords Be nd, with members of Hokes Bluff Odd-fellow Lodge as pall bearers.
