Death of Mrs. Cowan.

The news just reaches us of the death of Mrs. W. N. Cowan at her home in Turkeytown last week, after a long and lingering illness. Mrs. Cowan was one of the truly good women, a devout Christian and a kind and gentle mother and a loving friend.  She will be missed from among the circle of her neighbors and friends, as well as her family.

Mrs. Cowan was the wife of the late Wm. N. Cowan, one of the best men we ever met. She was 71 years old and for the past year or more had been a great sufferer, but she bore the pain with a Christian fortitude and was ready to go at the Master's call. Her remains were interred at the Turkeytown cemetery, a large concourse of sorrowing friends being present. to the bereaved we extend condolence.
