Pioneer Citizen Passed Away Sunday

Sim Boswell, one of the pioneer citizens of Wellington and Calhoun county, died at his home Sunday at 12 o'clock. Mr. Boswell has been sick for the past three years and his death was caused by infirmities due to his years. He was a member of the Baptist church and was 84 years old.

Mr. Boswell was the grandfather of W. B. Wood of Gadsden. 

The funeral will take place this afternoon at 4 o'clock and the interment will be at Union church at Wellington. The Masons will have charge of the funeral exercises.
