W. J. TRAFFANSTEDT

William John Traffanstedt, age 85, passed away at his home on Rt. 1, Dawson, Wednesday at 2 p. m., following an illness of three months. A native of Nashville, he had lived in DeKalb County and had for 30  years, resided in the Mt. Tabor community. He was a member of the Red Hill Baptist Church.

He is survived by one son, James, of Dawson; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Leak, Portersville, Calif.; Mrs. Ollie Morgan, Arkansas City, Ark; Mrs. Betty Vrooman, Richmond, Calif.; one brother, Bob Traffanstedt, of Collinsville.

Funeral services were held at Red Hill Friday at 1:00 p. m. with the Rev. Walter Wallace officiating.  Burial was in Red Hill Cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home in charge.
