MR. FLOYD STONE

William Floyd Stone, 54, of 1109 Forest Ave. N. W. Fort Payne, passed away in the DeKalb Gen. Hospital Monday, 5:30 a.m. following an illness of four weeks. A native of Sylvania he had lived in Fort Payne the past three years. He was a member of Wills Valley IOOF Lodge and a member of Henagar Baptist Church. He was a salesman and was formerly with the C & H Department Store in Fort Payne.

He is survived by his wife; Mrs. Beulah Mitchell Stone; two sons, Royce and Billy Hugh Stone, all of Fort Payne; a daughter, Mrs. Earl Marsh, Birmingham.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Second Baptist Church with the Revs. Truman Hicks, Tad Dawson, Jimmy Graves, officiating.

Pallbearers were: Haroce Crawford, Yeak Summerour, Barney Rains, Norman Waldrop, Earnest Padgett, Unice Browser, Leon Benefield, Harvey Clifton.

Interment in Glenwood Cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home in charge.
