MRS. RHODA LOU SHERBET

Mrs. Rhoda Lou Sherbet, 77, of Rt. 1, Colibran passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl Burt Tuesday at 7:55 a.m. following a five weeks illness. A native of DeKalb for sixty years. She was a member of Little River Baptist Church in Cherokee County.

Besides her daughter she is survived by a son, Brown Sherbet, Detroit, Michigan, six grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Willie Higginbotham, Leesburg, Mrs. Mary Maynard, Cullman, two brother, Charlie Sherbet, Arab, Ala., Henry Sherbet, Collinsville.

Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Yellow Creek Baptist Church near Leasburg with the Rev. C. M. Curley officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home in charge.
