CARRIE FRANCIS PARTLOW Mrs. Carrie Francis Partlow, 82, of Fort Payne Rt. 4, passed away at the home of her son, Hal Partlow Monday 5:30 a.m. following an illness of three weeks. A native of Walker County, Ga., she had lived most of her life in DeKalb County having lived in the Adamsburg community the past forty-eight years. She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church at Adamsburg. She is survived by two sons, Dewey Partlow, Fort Payne, Rt. 4., Hal Partlow, Fort Payne; three daughters, Mrs. J. L. Webster, Menlo, Ga., Mrs. W. K. Pierce, Rt. 4, Fort Payne, Mrs. H. R. Drake, Trenton, N. J., three grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Lynn Lanier, Rev. Robert Hurtt officiating. Active pallbearers will be Johnie Holbrook, Roy Culver, A. V. Baugh, Dan Walker, Raymond Barkley, Frank Hartline. Honorary are, Euclid Hill, Levi Baugh, Buster Pickard, Albert Owen, Quay Taff, Voy Taff, Pgh Taff, Claude Wade, John Miller, Bill Smith, Oscar Webster, J. E. Stafford, Dr. R. A. Igou Jr., Land Drake. Interment in the Adamsburg Cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home in charge.
