Myrick, age 73, passed away at the residence near Grove Oak February 23rd. She is survived by two sons, H. G. and R. L. Myrick, Grove Oak; one daughter, Mrs. Katie Bryant, Fort Payne; two step-sons, Thomas Myrick, Grove Oak, and Mack Myrick, Alabama City; two sister, Mrs. Lillie Campbell, Grove Oak Mrs. Betty Johnson, Texas. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Monroe Richey, assisted by the Rev. Jim Bean, at Piney Grove Church February 25, at 2:00 o'clock. Interment was made in adjoining cemetery. Pallbearers were R. J. Myrick, H. B. Myrick, Milford Myrick, W. F. Myrick, M. E. Myrick and Archie Myrick. Flower bearers were Miss Dorothy McElroy in charge, assisted by Mrs. Olin Oliver, Misses Mary Ruth Adams, Beatrice Beam Anna Lou Thrasher, Ludell Goggans, Rexine Light, Addie Beam. McBryar in charge of arrangements.
