MRS. LISSIE MEADOWS

Mrs. Lissie Victoria Meadows, 67, passed away at her home on Rt. 3, Fort Payne, Thursday at 11:0 p.m. following a 3-months illness. She was born at Collinsville but had lived in the Chavies communty the past 11 years. She was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, James F. Measdows; one son, Odell Meadows, Rt. 3, Fort Payne; two daughters, Miss Alice Meadows, Rt. 3, Fort Payne and Mrs. Bonnie Ashley, Rt. 1, Collinsbivlle; one brother Sherman Oliver, Rt. 1, Collinsville.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at New Bethel Near Collinsville, with the Rev. Charlie Dean officiating.

Burial in the adjoining cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home in charge.
