MRS. VIOLA BURKE HUCKABY

Mrs. Viola Burke Huckaby, 69, of Geraldine passed awa at her home Tuesday at 8:30 a.m., after a long illness. She had lived in the Geraldine area all her life. She was a member of Mr. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband, Truman Huckaby, Geraldine; 4 brothers, Sanford Burke, Attalla, Griff Burke, Calvin Burke of Geraldine; Bernard Burke, Gadsden; two sisters, Miss Ida Burke, Geraldine; Mrs. Mammie Gibbs, Chattanooga.

Funeral services were held at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Wednesday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Luther Chandler and the Rev. Mr. Jenkins officiating. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home in charge.
