Good Old Negro Dead.

Old man Peter Hester, one of the best colored citizens of the county, a resident of this city dropped dead on last Friday and was buried Saturday.

Peter moved here from Tuscaloosa some years ago, he had a large family of children and they soon by their humble manners and honesty established themselves in the good graces of the whites which they retain to this day.
