James Hawkins Jr., died at his home on the east side Tuesday at 6 p.m. He had been in poor health for some months and his death while greatly deplored, was not a surprise. His death is a great loss to his aged parents, as he was the only member of the family left at home. He had many noble traits of character. His remains were tenderly laid to rest this afternoon at Woodland cemetery.
