MR. SAM GRAHAM

Sam Graham, 77, of 706 4th St. N. E. passed away in DeKalb Gen. Hospital Thursday at 11 a.m. following an illness of two weeks. A native of DeKalb County, he had lived in the Mr. Vernon, Adamsburg and Ruhama communities before moving to Fort Payne twelve years ago. He was a member of Ruhama Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Brittie Whittie Graham, Fort Payne; a niece, Miss Lillie Crane, Fort Payne, two nephews, H.J. Rector, Fort Payne; Frev. Charles Rector, Rome, Ga.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Rector, Rev. Mr. Abernathy officiating. Pallbearers were Wayne Wallace, Erby Hall, Edd Durham, Ben Rochester, Ed Jones, Paul Jacobs.

Interment was in the adjoining cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home in charge.
