J. L. CRAWFORD

James Leon Crawford, 88, of Dutton, passed away early Tuesday morning following a short illness. He was a member of the Methodist Church, and spent most of his life in the Groveoak community.

Surviving are two sons, J. H. Crawford, Anniston, and John Crawford, of Fort Payne, Rt. 4; four daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Nix, Valley Head; Mrs. Maude Cole, of Altoona; Mrs. Ernestine Bates, Henagar, and Mrs. Nora Caves, Balley Head and a host of other relatives.

Funeral services were held at Trinity Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Joe Campbell officiating.

Interment in the adjoining cemetery with McBryar Funeral Home in charge.
