In Memory of A Friend

Mrs. Rebecca Chitwood was born Nov. 20, 1871, died May 5, 1931, Age, 69 years, 5 months and 15 days.

Aunt Becca, as she was so often called, professed a hope in Christ in early life and lived a real Christian life until the end. Was dearly beloved by all who knew her.  She was an invalid for 14 years, but always seemed cheerful and happy. She bore her afflictions with patience, never seemed to complain.

She leaves her husband and one son and three daughters and a host of friends to mourn her departure.

The writer has known Aunt Becca for 31 years, and her life has been a great help to me as she always had a good word for all she came in contact with. We wish to thank the doctors for their patience, and all the friends who were so ready to lend a helping hand, and also for the nice flowers. We also thank the ministers for their words of comfort and the good songs, and everything that was said or done in any way. May God add His choicest  blessings on all of them.
