He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Callaham; three sons, Luther and Talmadge, of Fort Payne Route 2, and Ruben of Henagar Route 2; four daughters, Mrs. W. B. Brooks, Crossville, Ala., Mrs. Lena Mays, Marietta, Ga.; Mrs. S. G. Bell and Mrs. D. N. Roden, of Fort Paynes R.F.D. 2; five brothers, Newton, Charlie, Rufus and Arthur Callaham, Pisgah, Ala.; Henry Callaham, New Mexico; three sister, Mrs. A. E. Berry, Oklahoma City, Mrs. Alice Hicks, Baxley, Ga.; and Mrs. Gertrude Allen, Chattanooga; forty grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Friday, December 22nd, at Pine Grove Church with the Revs. M. L. Dean and W. A. Hune officiating. Pallbearers were, Alton Callaham, Walter Brooks, Coy Mays, Clyde Roden, Dencey Roden and Earl C. Callaham. Flowerbearers were Mrs. Vera Adams, Miss Melba Callaham, Berma Callaham, Mildred Callaham, Mrs. Verna Young, Mrs. Ila Williams, Mrs. Imogene Callaham, Mrs. Alta May Callaham, Mrs. Pauline Roden. Interment in Pine Grove cemeter. McBryar Funeral Home directing.
