MAGGIE BUTLER Mrs. Maggie Butler, age 39, passed away at the residence in the Allen community, 7 p.m., Friday March 3rd. She is survived by the husband M. H. Butler; 6 sons, Milford Jonathan, Ernest, Robert, Archie and Irie; 1 daughter; Evergreen, all of Fort Payne Route 1; 1 sister; Mrs. Dora McBryar, Fort Payne, Route 1; 4 brothers; Ortis Ellard, Fort Payne; Ester Ellard, Fort Paynes; Jimmie Ellard, Fort Payne, and Wilford Ellis, Fort Payne. Her father, Mr. J. S. Ellard, Forst Payne, also survives. Funeral services were conducted by the rev. C. D. Sampley in the Allen Memorial church at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 5th. Interment in Stewart cemetery. Pallbearers were: W. T. Butler, David Barnett, Ervin Barnett, Lee V. Walker, R. C. Burnett, Jesse Hester. Flower bearers were: Mrs. Eva Lee Jackson, Miss Lois Walker, Lorene Rogers, Annie Eller, Florence Eller, Mrs. George Hulgan and Mrs. W. V. Cockrell in charge of flower arrangements. McBryar Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
