Oh dear mother how we are lonely But here awhile we just must roam, But some day we will greet you, In that Home so white as stone. I am lonely here without you, But I live for only one, But dear mother, I soon shall meet you, Just beyond the river run. I am here in a world of sorrow, With a sad and broken heart, But the day soon shall come, And we'll never no more part. Written by a daughter, Blanch.
