J. C. Brock, 68, of Groveoak, passed away December 18, following a lingering illness.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lonie Brock; five sons; Rev. Roy Brock, Ellis, Cliff, Homer and Ollie Brock; three daughters, Mrs. Esther Lewis, Mrs. Estelle Kirkland and Essie Lee Brock.

Funeral services were held December 19, at Green's Chapel with the Revs. Harris and Isbell officiating.

Interment was in the adjoining cemetery with McBryar Funeral Home in charge.
