Mr. C. G. BRISENDINE

Chancery Giles Brisendine, 73, of Fort Payne, Rt. 4, passed away in DeKalb Hospital Tuesday at 10 a.m. following an eight weeks illness. A native of Floyd County, Georgia, he had lived most of his life in DeKalb and Cherokee Counties.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Maude Cochran, Geraldine; Mrs. Goldie Wells, Fort Payne, Rt 4, a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from Black Oak Baptist Church with the Rev. C. W. Vaughn officiating. Pallbearers were Rex Cochran, Dan Cochran, Rawls Brisendine, Dawling Brisendine; Edward Brisendine, Will Brisendine.

Interment was in the adjoining cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home in charge.
