Mrs. Jesse Barnard, 62, passed

Mrs. Jesse Barnard, 62, away at her home near Valley Head, on Tuesday, June 17, after an illness of long duration. Mrs. Barnard was a life-long resident of DeKalb County, being born a Davenport near where she lived. She was a lovable and estimable woman and her death is greatly deplored by a wide circle of devoted friends.

Funeral services were held on June 18, at the Valley Head Methodist church, the pastor, Rev. Nolan officiating. Emmett directed interment.

Surviving are the husband and two sons.
