Former Fort Payne Woman Passes Away

The Journal is in receipt of information received through Mr. H. B. Brock, of Gadsden to the effect that Mrs. H. M. Banning, wife of Dr. H. M. Banning, of Citronelle, Ala., had recently passed away. It will be recalled that the Bannings, a very lovable and popular family lived in Fort Payne some fifteen years ago. The friends of this good woman will be saddened to learn of her death.
