MRS. VERA ASHFORD

Mrs. Vera Gentry Ashford, 39, of Trenton, Ga., passed away on Thursday, Dec. 4, following an illness of several months. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Lucien Ashford, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Chambers, of Trenton; two brother, Warren and Vernon Gentry; three sisters, Mrs. Velma Logan, Mrs. Pauline Taylor and Mrs. Dorothy Weathers and other relatives.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Holiness Church with Rev. Bill Glass and Rev. Tom Chastine officiating.

Burial was in the Whitt cemetery with McBryar Funeral Home in charge.
