HARRIS

[John Harris b. 1828, Alabama & (m) Frances (?), living Lebanon District 1850 with 2 girl children.] I guess I got most of the information I have on the subject line except that in 1851 they had a boy named Robert Charles and they were living next door to Dr. McNear David McClain. I need to discover the maiden name of Frances and the parents of John Harris who just seems to have disappeared by 1860 just as his father seems to have disappeared by 1850. I believe John's mother will be Mary A. Harris b. Virginia abt 1804 but I'm not sure. She is living in the house with another Harris (same dist) who is probably a brother to John and a 18 year old girl named Martha b. 1832 in Tennessee. I suspect this mother is Mary Ann Lewis who married William W. Harris in Madison in 1817 but I can't prove or disprove the theory thus far. Any help through your records will be appreciated. Just to know where John died or when would help or even the maiden name of Frances. From: Rendol Harris Fort Collins, Colorado - 12 Apr 1999
