JOSEPH ONEAL WARD

Joseph Oneal Ward, age 65 , of Pensacola, Florida passed away Tuesday May 16, 2004 . He was born and raised in Evergreen and moved to Pensacola in 1960.

He retired from Monsanto after 32 years of service and was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Elizabeth Ada Ward.

Funeral services were held Friday, may 21, 2004 at 10 AM at Faith chapel North- Cantonment with his brogther-in-law , Jimmy Aaron and his brother, John Ward officiating, Burial was in Pensacola Memorial Gardens, Faith Chapel North-Cantonment directing.

Pallbearers were Bob Aaron, Jack Nelson, Tommy Reeves, Frank Troup, David Peterson and Johnny Adams. Honorary pallbearers were Bob Pollard, Rusty Simmons, Bill Sneed, Ralph Lodge, Jack Parker, Robert Brooks, Lindell Romey adn the members of his Sunday School Class.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Mary Lou (Thomas) Ward, Pensacola, Fla.; two sons, neal Ward and Ted Ward, both of Pensacola; a daughter and son-in-law , Cecelia and Rodney Fountain, Birmingham, four grandchildren, Fallon Ward, Cody and Skyler Ward, a brother , John Ward, Evergreen; and two Sisters, Gail Truitt, Birmingham and Rickie Aaron
