Vinson, Fletcher G.       3 Jan 1822   25 Mar 1829 [date of death must be wrong according to inscription.]
    Born in Johnson Co NC; Came with his parents to this state, 1824 
    and graduated with distinction at La Grange College, Ala., June 14, 1841. 
    While young he joined the Masonic Lodge & in later years he connected himself
    with the M. E. Church. Departed this life 25 Mar 1829 regretted by many who 
    had been the recipients of his favors. 
         "When the crown is won at last Who will count the trials past". 
         Erected by his last wife and younger children, Dec 1880.
         
Vinson, Drury             4 Mar 1788   31 Mar 1862 In Memory of; was married to Mary Curtis 
    daughter of John & Mary Curtis Dec. 26th, 1811, professed religion and gained the 
    M. E. Church in 1811 & continued a faithful & exemplary to the end of his life. He 
    moved to this state in 1826 & died 31 Mar 1862
    
Vinson, John Wesley      20 Dec 1812    5 Aug 1841 Father; Sacred to the Memory of; 
    son of Drury & Mary Vinson born in NC and emigrated to this state in 1826. 
    The degree of Bachelor of Arts was conferred on him in La Grange College, 
    June 4, 1834. Was married May 16 1837 and died at his residence in Lawerence 
    County, Ala. Aug 5 1841 in the 29th year of his age. Every joy earned by noble 
    principles the closing scene of his life was marked by more than ordinary 
    patience. Friend after friend departs who has not lost a friend.

Vinson, Katie               Jul 1862      Oct 1862 dau of F. C. & M. A. Vinson

Rand, Malsey Ann          29 May 1824 no death date dau of John & Martha Rand; 
     In Memory of; born in Wake Co NC; married F. C. Vinson 1/6/42; Mother of 10 
     children, 7 of whom in their infantile purity at the call of their Heavenly 
     Father, had already proceeded her to the Home of the Blessed.
     
Vinson, Martha Ann         3 Jul 1815   13 Oct 1830 Sacred to the Memory of; 
     dau of Drury & Mary Vinson born in NC; Educated at La Grange, 
     receiving the highest honors of LaFayette Academy June 17, 1830 and died
     Oct 13, 1830 with a rising nation that accorded with her former profession.
     
Gargis, Henry                         d 13 April 1912 aged 69 yrs 6 mos 28 days.
