This survey of the Oakwood Cemetery in Tuscumbia, AL was done in 1933 by the WPA [Works Progress Administration]. The first marked grave in the Cemetery is that of Catherine Kenan Hooks, who died 24 Oct 1821. Any death dates prior to 24 Oct 1821 are possibly an error. This was typed by Pat M. Mahan and proofed by Martha Wilson.
