Funeral for Ona Lee Jennings Yarbrough, 72, of Decatur will be Tuesday at noon
at Garner Memorial C.M.E. Methodist Church with the Rev. W.H. Walker
officiating. Burial will be in Curry’s Chapel Church Cemetery in Valhermoso
Springs with Reynolds Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Yarbrough died Thursday at
Decatur General Hospital. She was a member of Garner Memorial C.M.E. Methodist
Church where she served as a stewardess, missionary and prayer service leader.
She is survived by her husband, Collier Ford Yarbrough; one son, John A.
Yarbrough of Decatur; three daughters, Beatrice Lee of Harlingen, Texas,
Isabella Wilson of Germany and Nora Porter of Fayetteville, N.C.; one stepson,
S.T. Yarbrough of Town Creek; one brother, Eddie Lee Jennings of Dayton, Ohio;
one sister, Emma Burge of Detroit; and 11 grandchildren. Members of Garner
Memorial C.M.E. Methodist Church and friends will serve as pallbearers.
