ATHENS - Funeral for Charlie Lee Yarbrough, 73, of Athens will be Tuesday at 1
p.m. at Peoples Funeral Home with the Rev. Clifford Mayes officiating. Burial
will be in Smithfield Cemetery in Elkmont. The family will receive friends
Monday night from 7 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Yarbrough died Thursday, Feb.
15, 1996, at home. He was born Feb. 11, 1923, in Limestone County. He is
survived by his wife, Laura Yarbrough; six sons, James Yarbrough of Prospect,
Tenn., Johnny Yarbrough, Charles Yarbrough, Jessie Yarbrough, Walter Yarbrough
and Darrick Yarbrough, all of Athens; one daughter, Geneva Malone of Athens;
three brothers, Walter Yarbrough and George Yarbrough both of Cincinnati, Ohio,
and Beasley Yarbrough of Nashville, Tenn.; three sisters, Nina Provens and
Lilian White, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Laura Stinnett of Athens.
