William Cohen Maxwell

Hartselle - Funeral for William Cohen Maxwell, 74 of Somerville, will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev Pearl Jenkins officiating.

Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.  The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Maxwell died Monday, Sep 7, 1998, at his home.  He was born Feb 17 1924, in Morgan County.  He was a security guard, retired after 31 years at Redstone Arsenal and was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.  He was also a member of Antioch United methodist Church.  He was the brother of the late Delver Maxwell and J. H. Maxwell

He is survived by his wife, Helen Goodner Maxwell, two sons, Rex Maxwell of Somerville and Donald Maxwell of Rogersville, on daughter, Elaine Warren of Somerville, Four brothers, Bly O Maxwell and Aclin Maxwell, both of Hartselle, and Ceigel Maxwell and John Maxwell, both of Somerville, one sister, Leone Hamilton of Somerville, and seven grandchildren.
