BRO. LEON GRIFFITH

Funeral services for Bro. Leon Griffith, 63, of Route 4, Hartselle, who died Nov. 30, 1985, at Parkway Medical Center, were Monday, Dec. 2, at 2:00 p.m. at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, Rev. Clyde Ledlow and Rev. Connie Bolan officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery, Peck Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife, Leaton M. Griffith of Hartselle; two daughters, Kay Key and Toni Kelley, both of Hartselle; two sons, Maurice Griffith of Somerville and Monty Griffith of Hartselle; four sisters, Pearl Depreast, Polly Callahan, Mary Foster and Marie Woods, all of Hartselle; two brothers, Arthur W. Griffith of Florida and Edward Griffith of Somerville; five granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.

Nephews served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were deacons and laymen of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

Griffith was a veteran of World War II and a member of the D.A.V. of Hartselle. He was also a member and deacon of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
