JULIUS GLASSCOCK, JR.

Funeral services for Julius Glasscock, Jr., 67, Palatka, Fla., who died April 23 at Palatka, Fla., were Wednesday, April 28, at Peck Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Brooks Barkley officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery, Peck directing.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucy Glasscock, Palatka; two daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Hysler, Palatka, and Mrs. Sharron Ann Cribbs, Fort Hood, Texas; one son, Richard Kish, Palatka; five grandchildren; two brothers, Colonel Earl Glasscock, Rome, Ga., and Gregory Glasscock, Jackson, Tenn.

Pallbearers were Bunyan Roan, Herbert Roan, Emmett Roan, Van Glasscock, M. R. Glasscock and Doc Glasscock.

Mr. Glasscock was a retired chief petty officer with the U. S. Navy and was a member of the first Navy plane to fly non stop across the Pacific in 1934. He was also a member of First Baptist Church in Hartselle.
