A graveside service for Jewell Griffin, 87, of Falkville will be Thursday, August 24, at 10:00 a.m. at Bethel Cemetery with Moss Service Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Griffin died Monday, August 21, 2000, at Falkville Health Care. She was a homemaker and the widow of Auby Griffin and the grandmother of the late Linda Hatcher.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Betty Haley of Gardendale, Tex.; one son, Billy Dean Griffin of Simi Valley, Calif.; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
