MARY EVILO CRANDALL

Funeral services for Mary Evilo Crandall, 77, of Del Rio, Tex., were conducted Sunday, January 2, at 1:30 pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel in Hartselle with Arvid McGuire officiating.

Burial was in Curry Cemetery in the Union Hill community with Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mrs Crandall died Wednesday, December 29, at Val Verde Memorial Hospital in Del Rio. She was a native of Madison County and a graduate of the former Morgan County High School. She was a retired legal secretary and a court reporter for the U. S. Government with 30 years of service. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by two brothers, Holland L. Compton of Hartselle and Robert W. Compton of Del Rio; and two sisters, Freda Compton Elliott of Imperial Beach, Calif., and Telete Compton Swander of Hartselle.

Pallbearers were nephews and cousins.
