Mrs. Lottie Couey Dies Following An Illness

Mrs. Lottie Augusta Couey, age 42, of Hartselle Route 4, died this morning at 12:30 o'clock at Benevolent hospital, following a lingering illness.

She is survived by the husband, Edd Couey; her parents, Mr. and Mr. J. J. Griffin, Hartselle Route 3; three daughters, Christine, Irene and Barbara Couey; one son, Roy Couey; three sisters, Mrs. Audia Isley, Stansburg, Ohio, Mrs. Christine Bentley, Hartselle Route 1, and Mrs. T. H. Lackey, Tuscumbia Route 2; three brothers, R. E. Griffin, Hartselle Route 4, Dloyd L. Griffin, Lorane, Texas, and Cecil L. Griffin, Hartselle Route 3.

Peck is in charge of funeral arrangements which will be announced later.

Funeral service will be held at Bethel Saturday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock, with the Rev. L. E. Toone officiating. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery with Peck in charge.
