71, retired international logistics manager

Hartselle - Funeral for Joseph F. Coughlin, 71, of Hartselle will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Debell officiating.

Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mr. Coughlin died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 1997, at Huntsville Hospital. Born July 8, 1925, in Pennsylvania, he was a retired international logistics manager from Redstone Arsenal and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sue White Coughlin of Hartselle; two sons, Robert W. Coughlin of Orlando, Fla., and Joseph M. Coughlin of Lacey's Spring; one stepson, Barry Pike of Hartselle; one step-daughter Beth P. Emerson of Hartselle; one brother, Robert Coughlin of Worchester, Mass.; four sisters, Margaret Nedley, Annabelle Conner, Nora Barker and Gertrude Conroy, all of Pittsburgh; and nine grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Robert W. Coughlin, Joseph Mark Coughlin, Barry Pike, Charlie Thompson, Jerry Murphy and Frank Edwards.
