Ed Couey of Route 4, Hartselle, died November 14, 1986, at Medical Park Convalescent Center, at the age of 90. He was a farmer and a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church.

Funeral services were Saturday, November 15, at 2:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Robert Overstreet officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery, Peck Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Mae Couey of Hartselle; three daughters, Katherin Maner and Irene Flack, both of Decatur and Barbara Maples of Hartselle; one son, Roy Couey, of Hartselle; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Nephews served as pallbearers.
